Rains to continue in Kerala; Here's how there is a possibility of rain in these districts tomorrow
The low-pressure area, which recovered the other day, reached over east Madhya Pradesh. It will move over west Madhya Pradesh towards Gujarat the next day. The low pressure is currently in a strong state. The well-marked low-pressure system will arrive in Gujarat in the next four days.
Rains to continue in Kerala
As the low pressure is located in central India and clouds are forming in the Arabian Sea, rains will continue in Kerala in the coming days as well. The rains will intensify in Kozhikode and Malappuram districts on Friday night. Metbeat Weather has predicted that there will be rain in Ernakulam and Idukki districts as well.
Tomorrow (Saturday) it will rain here
The rains will intensify from north Kerala to central Kerala tomorrow. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram, Wayanad and Palakkad districts during the day tomorrow. There will also be isolated moderate rain in Ernakulam. Intermittent to moderate rain is expected in Pathanamthitta and Kottayam districts. Moderate rainfall is expected in other districts.
The monsoon is getting ready for a farewell
The departure process will begin after September 20 of the southwest monsoon. Earlier, Metbeat News had reported that the departure of the monsoon will begin from Gujarat.
Kerala is the state where the monsoon arrives first and the last to leave. The monsoon departure process usually takes 30 to 45 days to complete. The northeast monsoon will arrive in Kerala only after the end of the monsoon.
The current situation
Now the monsoon winds are active and in the right direction. The monsoon trough is in its normal position to the south. Heavy rains are expected in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in the coming days. Odisha and coastal Andhra Pradesh are likely to receive rainfall. The recovered low-pressure area is likely to bring heavy rainfall over Madhya Pradesh for the next two days. The system will cause rainfall in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Delhi will also receive isolated rainfall after tomorrow.
